Welcome to Ekta Rural Foundation

A child’s potential shouldn’t depend on their postcode. At ERF, we’re on a mission to support every child’s physical, emotional, behavioural, and cognitive development—no matter where they’re growing up. We do this by creating therapeutic tools, developmental aids, and equipment that can be used by caregivers, teachers, and frontline workers across India.

Our Mission

To standardize and simplify access to early childhood care resources by equipping Anganwadis, NGOs, charitable clinics, and other grassroots organizations with professionally designed developmental tools. We believe that when ground-level workers are empowered, they can focus on what truly matters: caring, connecting, and uplifting children and their families

MEET DR. ekta bhatia

Dr. Ekta Bhatia is a Neuro-Developmental Physiotherapist and Certified Behavioral Therapist with over 18 years of experience working across all age groups—from infants to seniors.

She is also the Founder of Ekta Rural Foundation, a not-for-profit initiative that creates accessible play and learning spaces for underserved children.

Known for her compassion, innovation, and commitment to social change, Dr. Bhatia bridges therapy, education, and community service, inspiring growth one life, one milestone, and one community at a time.

WHY IT MATTERS?

There is a vast inequality in the kind of care children receive across rural and urban India. Some children have
access to sensory gyms and learning centres others do not even have basic stimulation tools.
